You can visit Spain anytime of the year depending on the adventure you are chasing. Tourists flock to this region all year round and here’s what you’ll get at different times throughout the year.
Spring (March to June): Spain is a lovely place to go during spring. The weather is soothing, and you get to see blooming flowers for festivals. It is an ideal moment to visit such cities as Barcelona, Madrid or Sevilla. The temperatures in May are usually just pleasant and hot but not hot enough to burn you.
Summer (June to September): This is at the apex of summer and in coastal and other hot places including common tourist areas. It should be noted that while the beach resorts are busy, places such as Seville and Cordoba become almost intolerable with heat. For those who love holidaying on beaches, now is the right period to visit coastlines.
Autumn (September to December): The other great time to visit Spain also comes early in autumn. There are little and no people as the temperature remains high, allowing for touring of the cities and coastal regions. This time allows for various cultural events and festivals to take place.
Winter (December to March): The south of Spain including Andalusia can be visited during winter when it is not as cold as the northern part. The cities of Granada and Seville are wonderful for exploring. The spanish pyrenees provide good winter sports for those who like skiing
Note: Keep in mind that Spain’s climate may differ greatly from one region to another, as it is a large country. Moreover, the best time to visit also depends on what kinds of experience that suits you, such as cultural, beach, or outdoor tours. It is important to confirm local festivals and events so as to improve your experience of travel.
