- George Town (Penang) Listed among many other UNESCO World Heritage Sites, George Town is located within the island of Penang. It is known for its excellently preserved colonial era architecture, varied culinary offering and lively art scene. Sites like the Kek Lok Si Temple and Clan Jetties are very popular among tourists.
- Johor Bahru: Located at the southern tip of the peninsula, Johor Bahru is a rapidly growing region known for its modern erections and proximity to Singapore. Apart from being a haven for shoppers, it also has locations like Legoland, Hello Kitty Town and the Old Chinese Temple.
- Penang (Mainland): Besides George Town, Penang, on the mainland, offers a completely different adventure. Butterworth is the main locale in this town and is also the major transportation hub. Known for its gorgeous waterfront, the city also houses attractions like the Butterworth Art Walk.
- Ipoh: As the capital of Perak, Ipoh is known for its colonial architecture, lip smacking local cuisine and colourful street murals. Surrounded by limestone hills, some other attractions of the city include the Kek Lok Tong Cave Temple and Concubine Lane.
- Kota Kinabalu : Kota Kinabalu is the capital of Sabah and is located on the island of Borneo. It is the gateway to Mount Kinabalu, its namesake. The city has a stunning waterfront, fresh seafood delicacies and cultural sites like the Sabah State Museum. There are a couple of marine parks nearby which make this a haven for environmentalists.
- Kuching : Known for its enchanting riverfront, Kuching is located in Sarawak which is also on the island of Borneo. The street markets and historical buildings in this region are renowned all over the country. The Kuching Waterfront, Kuching Museum and Cat Museum make this destination truly unique.
