Opened n the year 2002, X2 Six Flags is the world’s first ‘fourth dimensional’ ride with a 360 degree rotating seats. You get to enjoy music, sound effects along with fire that have been carefully designed to heighten your total sensory experience. The ride makes into the list of the scariest as it seats pitch 360 degrees forwards and in reverse independent of the main chassis. The first drop is 215 feet (65.5 m) and is sloped at 88.8 degrees, letting the train to reach a maximum speed of 76 mph. This massive 3,610 foot long layout features inversions consisting of a Skydive, two raven turns, one back flip and one twisting front flip.
Started in May 2008, this inverted vertical loop coaster starts off up 121 feet above the ground only to throw the riders’ right back down in a heart wrenching, 97-degree negative drop. Throwing up with the help of a hydraulic launch at a record-setting speed (128 mph), Kingda Ka reaches its highest point in just 3.5 seconds. On the way down, there’s a 270-foot spiral along with several other spinning action for one hair rising trip.
After X2, it is the only second 4-D coaster in the world. It features the same 360 degree turns and head over heels spinning on the wing like cars. The track is bit longer with a ride being far taller. Taking you to the height of 250 feet, it is seventh highest roller coaster in the world. The tallest ride in the southern hemisphere, Tower of Terror is aptly considered under the scariest ride list because of its climb to a 100 feet tower.
