Featuring more than 300 human sculptures created by British eco-artist Jason deCaires Taylor is the only underwater museum of Europe and definitely the most innovative one in the world.
The museum is designed to educate and create awareness about the marine conservation.
To visit the museum, one needs to be a Scuba Diver as then only one can dive into the museum and observe human sculptures; depicting the harsh realities of what human has done to the ocean.
The sculptures are created with pH neutral materials and have been designed to last for hundreds of years as an artificial reef for marine life to thrive on.
Divers can also witness a 100-ton, 90ft-long wall and a botanical garden with flower sculptures, 5 figures walking towards a gateway in a 30-meter-long, 100-tone wall.
From consisting of hundreds of real-size human figurines, to ‘The Portal’, a unique water within water installation, every artwork is spectacular.
