Located in the Balasore District of Odisha, The Chandipur beach is one such place, popular for its uniqueness. The beach is famous for its ever changing quality. Confused? Well, when you are at Chandipur beach, you can actually see the sea getting disappear in front of your eyes and coming back again.

Here, at the sea, water moves between 2-5 kilometers during ebb tide (the duration between the high tide and the low tide) and come back to the shore at the time of high tide. This unusual natural phenomenon happens daily where you can actually watch the sea, nowhere to be seen in front of your eyes.

Air: The nearest airport to reach the destination is at Bhubaneswar which is linked with several other important places like- Kolkata, Delhi, Hyderabad, Raipur, Nagpur and Mumbai.
Railways: The nearest railway station is at Balasore is on S.E.Railways.
Roadways: One can travel Chandipur which is 16 Kms by road from Balasore on NH-5. Bus services are also available from Balasore to Chandipur Beach.
Best Time to visit:
The perfect time to visit is between November to March as a local golden beach festival is celebrated here in the month of February showcasing Dance forms, Arts & Culture of the State.
