Day wise Itinerary:

On arrival at the AlUla Airport, clear the airport exit formalities and meet with your driver. You be transferred to your hotel in AlUla as per the transfer booked. Upon arrival check in to the hotel and relax.

AlUla is one of the very few places in the world where one can experience the feeling of a true explorer charting the unknown. Home to the first UNESCO World Heritage Site in Saudi Arabia, situated deep in the desert in the northwestern region of the country, here you might still be able to live your fantasy of being a daring archeologist for a day! Each moment here feels like a life time in the presence of cutting-edge art installations, stunning mammoth rock structures and ancient tombs that remain as the legacy of 7,000 years of human civilization.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Today set out to explore the Natural Wonders Hidden in this beautiful part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Arrive at Winter Park 40 minute prior to your tour start time to allow time for transportation. Winter Park has a visitor center to pick up your guide and map as well as a variety of food trucks to get you fueled up for the tour. Proceed to Madaîn Salih (Hegra). The first Saudi site to be listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its outstanding universal value, the ancient Hegra is a major city of the Nabataean civilization in continuity with Petra in Jordan, and which stretches over some 20kms. The remarkably preserved site houses an exceptional funerary heritage carved out of the rock, the architecture of which is reminiscent of the Hellenistic, Roman or even Eastern style.

Move towards Harrat Uwayrid. AlUla is blessed with numerous lookout points that offer an elevated view of the epic landscape. Scale the black lava stone terrain of Harrat Uwayrid, and you’ll be rewarded with views over Dadan, AlUla Old Town, AlUla Fort and the AlUla Oasis. Stand at what feels like the edge of the world.

Next up, visit AlUla’s Old Town which has 900 mudbrick houses, 400 shops and five rahbas, or town squares. Traces of original stone and mudbrick structures can be found at this remarkable site, with winding alleyways, windows glimpsing hidden lanes and roof-top terraces that only hint at the world within.

Later in the day get ready for an experience of a lifetime Stargazing or Moon Night Experience with Bedouin (Local) Dinner. You can gaze up at the beauty of the night sky at Al Gharameel. Dark and mysterious, it is the perfect place for a spot of stargazing.

Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Begin your visit towards Jabal Ikmah/ Dada. Take on a journey through time to discover the ancient and powerful civilisations of the Dadanite and Lihyanite kingdoms, that have built and shaped AlUla. Explore the ruins of Jabal Ikmah, an open library of inscriptions, rock art and petroglyphs set in a stunning desert canyon.
Next up, get ready to hop into a buggy for an unforgettable ride through AlUla’s amazing sandstone mountains will give you all the thrill and adrenaline you need. Get ready for a wild ride as experienced guides drive you into narrow canyons, over high sand dunes and across challenging terrain.

Visit the awe inspiring Elephant Rock also known as Jabal Alfil, one of AlUla’s many geological marvels. Set in the golden desert sands and climbing three storeys into the Saudi Arabian Sky.

Return back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

For the ones seeking a bit of an adrenaline rush can opt for Via Ferrata & Canyon Hammock Experience. Zigzag your way across the canyon, suspended in a harness, completing aerial challenges and manoeuvring through floating obstacles. Whether it’s the daring heights or stunning canyon views, get ready to take your breath away. Via Ferrata is a spectacular journey enabling non-climbers to experience the world of mountaineering!

Day is at leisure to explore the city on your own. You may choose to opt and head out to visit the Heritage Oasis Trail. The picture-perfect, lush AlUla Oasis captures the beauty and the heritage of AlUla. Take a stroll under towering date palms and smell the cool freshness of the earth. Meander through remnants of mudbrick houses, local farms and ancient city walls. Sit with locals, sip on Arabic coffee or fresh orange juice and take your time to enjoy the slow pace of what makes the AlUla Oasis so special.

Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Wake up in the morning, have a scrumptious breakfast and pack your bags for your departure.

Check-out and board your flight for your return journey home.
