EaseMyTrip plans to expand the number of hotels from TS

Easy Trip Planners Private Limited, one of the leading travel companies in India has planned to expand number of hotels on their online portal for which they plan to on-board 70% of the nearly 2,500 registered hotels present in Telangana. At present, the company has around 800 hotels for booking in Telangana.

Rolly Sinha Dhar, VP, Corporate Sales, EaseMyTrip.com said, “Hyderabad is popular among the travelers majorly for business related trips. We are looking to tie up with business hotels offering stay to executive class. Also, for the tourists visiting the city, we plan to onboard budget friendly hotels.”

At present, EaseMyTrip has 4 lakh hotels globally on their platform from which 7.5% users are from Telangana which the company plans to increase to 20% by the end of 2019. On impending fund raising plans, Rolly Sinha Dhar said the company is evaluating multiple options and an IPO is one of them.
