Silent Trail - Jilling Sanctuary

Silent Trail is a small but exquisite resort located in the quite and pristine oak forest of Jilling near Padampuri in Uttrakhand, only 25 km away from Nainital. Nestled 6000 feet up in the mountains, one has to essentially reach the lodge by foot or by pony, through terrace farms and oak jungles , distance from the base point is 3.5 km ( approx). The resort comprises of the original stone bungalow and the annexes which include a glass enclosed solar heated swimming pool. The views on one side of the property stretches down to the plains, through the foot hills and on the other side, are the iced peaks of the Himalayas, the Nanda Devi range looks up close on a clear day. The rooms are simple yet luxurious with modern day facilities. Great food is prepared by our chefs, the 100% organic ingredients sourced from our very own green houses. The conservatory is a glass building and includes an exterior viewing deck and fireplace that looks out into the hills, books and journals, state of the art home theatre system and a dining area. The place is a bird watchers haven, and an ideal place to just throw back ones hair and relax.
