Athirapally waterfall is situated on the Chalakudy river in the Thrissur district of Kerala.  The largest waterfall in the state of Kerala, this waterfall has a height of 25 meters. At a height of 320 meters and width of 30 meters, Dudhsagar stands as the highest waterfall in India. Dudhsagaris also called the” sea of milk” owing to the white appearance of milk. Nohsngithiang Falls also known as the Mawsmai falls, is located in the Mawsmai village of Cherranpunjee.   Considered as the 4th tallest waterfall in the country, the waterfall has picturesque views that surround mountains and valleys. Falling from 1035 feet, this waterfall is a natural wonder.  Also called as the Seven sister waterfall, seven streams come together to bring out the gushing water force.

Elephant falls is located in Shillong which is also known as the Scotland of the East. During the monsoon season, you can see the waterfalls gushing in full force which is absolutely stunning. Even the locals take an opportunity to watch the magnificent waterfall during the season. The Khasi name for Elephant Falls is Kshaid-Lai-Pateng, which refers to the three levels over which the water plunges.
