IIFA 2022: The night of glamour in Abu Dhabi

It's over! The wait is finally over. IIFA is back and ready to roll! Great news for all the Bollywood buffs. After waiting for two long years, IIFA is back with a bang! The wait for the star-studded night is finally over and we know you don’t want to miss it. The red carpet will roll out in Yas Island, hosted by our beloved stars Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

Earlier the IIFA awards 2022 has been hosted by renowned celebrities like Anupam Kher, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Anil Kapoor, Dia Mirza, Shahrukh Khan, Boman Irani, Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor, and has been hosted in different cities around the world like London, Malaysia, Singapore, Netherlands, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Colombo, Bangkok, Toronto, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, not to brag but the awards have surely travelled more, than most of us!

IIFA which is also known as the International Indian Film Academy awards is the most prestigious award of Indian Cinema. It has about 150 nominations, it is a culmination of glamour and allure mixed with splendid performances by our favourite superstars. IIFA has taken the international stage, and travelling to the destination will only enhance your experience, it's like the cherry on the top.

What to expect?

It’s a two-day long festival that will be conducted between 20th to 21st May 2022. It will offer breath-taking performances, something that will be etched with you forever. Musical performances, cinematic screenings, fashion shows, and whatnot, we are surely losing count of the multiple things that one will get. The film fraternity will be right there in front of you. Surely, an experience that you would not want to miss! It is not just another event in Yas Island, it will be an experience in itself, curated for all the Bollywood buffs.

Where it will be conducted?

This year the awards will be conducted in Yas Islands, nestled on the golden coastline of Abu Dhabi, which is one of the fastest-growing leisure and entertainment destinations. The destinations have something for everyone. If you wish to stay on the Island during the IIFA weekend, one can hop to Yas Bay, which is promised to be Abu Dhabi’s premier waterfront destination. This area will feature Pier 71, a 3km boardwalk with the facilities one can ask for! It offers restaurants with scrumptious, delicious, mouth-watering (using all the synonyms to give you the essence of it) cuisines. Asia Asia, Hunter, and Barrel, Paradiso and Lock, Stock & Barrel will be there, furthermore proving that it is definitely a place to be.

Ferrari World

If you are someone to whom cars excite, then Yas is a perfect destination for you! Ferrari World. It is the first Ferrari-themed Park and also features Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster, the highest loop ride, the tallest space frame structure. Surely, a one-stop destination for your non-stop adrenaline rush!

Water World 

Are you a water baby? Then Yas has a perfect destination for you as well. Yas Water World has a Barrel slide which believe us or not is the largest surfable sheet wave surf in the world. It has some of the most interesting slides, like Dawwama; it is the world’s largest six-person tornado and surely one will have an experience of a lifetime. It offers many more amazing slides, a must-visit place, and will keep one entertained as it is a whole package.

Warner Bros. 

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi, offers six themed lands, yes and yes! Gotham City, Metropolis, Cartoon Junction, Bedrock, Dynamite Gulch, and Warner Bros Plaza. Is this exciting enough? Visiting this park will surely make you nostalgic. Gotham and Metropolis are based on the cities of DC Comics super and will give a tour on the gospels Batman and Superman. We know right! It is surely on our list, and we urge you to not miss this destination. 

Cartoon Junction

The cartoon junction will transport you back to your childhood it has junctions like Scooby-Doo, cartoon junction carousel, Twitty Wild Wickets, Acme Factory, Ani-Mayhem, all the cartoon junctions for you to go back in time, where we came running from our schools just to gog onto these shows. Surely witnessing them In Front of us will make our childhood dreams come true. Must visit, is it?

Marine Theme Park 

Does marine life excite you as an individual? Then, we have the perfect place for you. It is a marine-life theme park and it will feature the world’s largest and most expensive marine-life aquarium, and house more than 68000 marine animals, schools of fish.
