So, who doesn't like going on a trip and that too with your college friends, well it's always fun. In college one must focus more on budget travels than on luxuries. Goa: It's supposed to be the top choice for college students to go to. Goa is the ultimate party destination thanks to affordable beaches, booze and boarding options. The best time to visit Goa February- November as the weather during this time is the most suitable   Estimated budget is around 2500-4000 per person for 2–3-day trip.

Manali: When you have an idea about going on a trip to the mountains, we are sure Manali comes in the top 3 destinations you want to go. The ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai diwani’ with your college mates is worth making memories.  You could have either a biking trip or travel by the bus to Manali depending upon your convenience.  Manali has everything you would want from a trip in Himachal with lush green forests, sprawling grasslands, flowing blue river and picturesque mountains. At Solang Valley you could also try out activities like paragliding, zorbing, river rafting and horse-riding.

 The best time to visit Manali is from January to march when you could find snow but the weather won't be too cold. Estimated budget per person could be between 5k- 10k.

Ladakh: Another destination which comes to your mind when you plan for a college trip is Ladakh. We all have seen 3 idiots and well we have gotten a glimpse of how beautiful Ladakh is. The rugged landscape of Ladakh will tempt you to visit this place at least once in your life time and what's a better time to do that rather than your college. Apart from the picturesque view at the Pangong lake and the landscapes you could also get the unique opportunity to walk on water! Chadar trek which is done on the river Zanskar during December and January offers you this opportunity for adventure along with the obvious constant fear of ice breaking and falling into the ice-cold river.

The best time to visit Ladakh is during the summer season when the temperature is between 15-30 degree Celsius although if you want to experience the snowfall then you should visit between October and February. Estimated budget per person could be 8k- 12k.

Jaipur: The pink city in Rajasthan could be the best budget trip for you and your friends during college.

This city is a great place for people who are interested in history, culture and well even the shopaholics with its bustling bazaars. Apart from all this Jaipur offers its charm, with various hilltop forts and delectable cuisine. This city is famous for a variety of things like handicrafts, jewellery, and leather items.

The best time to visit Jaipur is within November and February. Estimated budget per person could be 2000-3500 per person for two days.

Amritsar: Home to the Golden Temple, Amritsar is one of the most affordable and mesmerizing tourist destination for ever-broke college students.

For college students in Delhi, it's just a bus ride away or you could even take a train. You could easily get accommodation at the gurudwara where it's completely free for the girls while a very nominal fee is charged for the boys otherwise you could also get hotels at very economical prices. One can also take a holy dip in the spiritual divinity that Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara or the Golden temple offers. The langar at the Golden temple is something that can’t be missed and this along makes travelling all the way to Amritsar worth it.

 Best time to visit Amritsar is February to March and September to December. Estimated budget for the trip could be 2000-3000.
