Wonderful tour with Katarina

We really enjoyed our private half-day tour of Schonbrunn Palace. Our guide, Katarina, was fantastic. She connected well with my young adult kids as well as myself and my husband. She explained the subway system to us as we rode from our hotel to the palace, gave an informative and entertaining palace tour, and great recommendations for where to eat lunch and dinner afterwards. Katarina also added lots of background about the key figures who lived in Schonbrunn, which really enriched the whole experience. I highly recommend taking this tour! There is so much to absorb in such an enormous palace, you will be glad you did it.

A memorable afternoon with Katarina at Schoenbrunn

We spent a terrific afternoon being guided through Schoenbrunn palace by our wonderful guide Katarina. Katarina brought history alive as she spoke of the people, cultural events, and the furnishings within Schoenbrunn . Her enthusiasm matched her knowledge, and we had an afternoon that went by faster than we could imagine! There is special enjoyment that comes from interacting with an expert guide and this was our experience with Katarina. .

Value for moeny!

Having a ”private” guide was wellspent moeny. Our guide gave us a fantastic experience. She was very knowelgeable, very well prepared with pictures and storys. She could answer every question, also with a personal touch. On top of all that she was very charming!

The Highlight to our Visit to Vienna

We had a really fantastic tour of Schönbrunn Palace given by Katarina Koeck. We were a family group with young teenagers, so I was initially apprehensive that a 3-hour tour might be too much for them. I need not have been worried at all, as Katarina kept all of us spellbound for its full length and really brought the history of the palace and the Kaisers to life.

Schönbrunn with Katarina was amazing!!

Katarina Koeck’s Schönbrunn tour was phenomenal!! She is an extremely knowledgeable guide who brought history to life and was able to answer all of our (many) questions, no matter how obscure they were or what time period was involved. It was truly a pleasure to spend the morning with her as our guide. My husband and I have traveled a lot and have hired many guides and we are not so easy to please — Katarina gets our highest recommendation!

Excellent Historical Guide

Ilse had thorough knowledge of the entire Habsburg dynasty and of course the whole castle of Schoennbrunn. Her English is perfect. Can highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit Schoenbrunn's many rooms and get an in-depth understanding of those times which come alive with Ilse's explanations. Thank you.

Don't look any further!

Ilse was a fantastic guide. We were lucky enough to be the only ones who booked it, which allowed us a private tour through schloss schönbrunn and the gardens. We could ask as many questions as we liked and got to know so much more then we would have with an audioguide or big group. If you love (habsburg) history and are going to visit, this is definitely worth the money. Thank you!

Shin run palace 3 hours special tour

An extremely knowledgeable guide, very precise and enthusiastic. She was very pleasant and nice so the tour has been great. On our way back to town we planned to stop at Maiolica House and she was so kind to illuminating us on the subject and to stop by with us. She is very well equipped with devices so she can start talking while you reach the place to visit. So we highly recommend her and we will book her again if we return. Interesting tour, and awesome guides

The tour with Katarina was fantastic! Us as adults and our kids thoroughly enjoyed it, and the amazing history of the palace. Things were put into interesting historical perspective, and her knowledge about both this palace and the others in the region associated with it was incredible. Our kids were kept interested, and Katarina was patient to answer all their questions. I must also compliment the tour company as well, as I accidentally booked the wrong date (a week later than we were there), yet they managed to support us and arrange a guide with nearly no prior notice. It was only a couple hours before what I thought was our tour that they fixed my error and arranged a guide for us. (very sorry for the trouble!). Excellent tour of the palace

the pre joining instruction sent is fantastic. The historian guide, Ilse, is excellent. She is very knowledgeable, patient and very good in explaining the history of the palace in simple words.

While our guide was informative...

<p>While our guide was informative about the artwork it isn't a tour I would recommend because it was very dry and somewhat boring... Unless you are a historian or academic. We had 3 children with us aged 12-18 but the guide didn't tailor the tour to be more interesting for them, in fact he was frustrated by the children. It was 521aud for 10-2pm but he finished at 1pm because we wanted a coffee break it was -5 degrees and everyone was tired. That means 1/4 of the tour was wiped off. It should have been made clearer we had to organise our own transport to the palace, the tickets should have been included for that price, and there should be an arrangement for a coffee break. We would have been better off with the audio guides</p>

Behagelig og humoristisk guide som lærte oss mange ukjente detaljer om palasset og familien. Veldig glad for at vi bestemte oss for å delta i en liten gruppe. Faktisk var det bare meg og samboeren min som deltok, så vi fikk virkelig en unik omvisning.
