Charles Bridge and Lesser Town

Johana was fabulous. She is a wealth of information. She provided great details about the Lesser Town and the Charles Bridge. The water ride was so-so. Rather short and little more than a circle around the Charles Bridge. It would be nicer if the water ride went further north up to the Stefanik Bridge.

Informative tour with great views from the river.

Great walking tour

Agata was a fun tour guide! We really enjoyed the walking part of this tour. The river portion was disappointing. Our seats faced backwards and not all of the plug ins worked for the head sets. I had to hold our plug the entire time and twist around to see what was being discussed.

Great outing, especially the walking tour

Johana was a great guide, giving us both historical details and a modern perspective on the city of Prague. We saw both the most popular spots and some hidden gems. The boat ride after was relaxing and scenic.

A Good short trip.

We had a gentleman named Michael as our tour guide who was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable who shared so much interesting facts about Prague. He was very patient and also funny it was a pleasant experience.

Great activity for the first day of our trip

Our guide Victoria was amazing! Showing us both the main spots in the lesser town and old town (as well as Charles Bridge) with so much knowledge. Our guide also told us good places to visit and things to see (a lovely organ concert!) during our stay.

All Day Czech St Charles Bridge boat tour

It's not really a "cruise" on the river (you make a circle under the bridge but don't go down the river

It was a 90min tour but it ended up being over 2hr because we waited at least 45mins on the boat before leaving the dock. The walking tour was interesting and well done but it wasn't a "cruise" on the river, you just go around in a circle around the bridge which wasn't what we expected from the description. Everyone thought the tour "okay" and wouldn't recommend it.

Great tour guide and personal feel to the tour

Victoria was a brilliant guide, shared some great knowledge and history of Prague. the tour wasn’t overcrowded like many others, great to actually get a personal tour of the city.

Great short walking tour while getting to the boat. Very well done. And the boat trip was enjoyable - a good vantage point to see city sights.

Perfect tour for discovering Prague

Our guide Michael was easily one of the very best we've ever had, anywhere. He was both informative and funny and kept us entertained for a whole hour. Learnt so much in a short space of time, I can't recommend Pragueway and Michael enough. Brilliant!

A great way to learn a lot about Prague!

The walking tour part was absolutely brilliant, our guide Michael spoke excellent English and was both really funny and very informative. We learnt a lot and had a great time. The boat trip was not quite as good, you get a set of headphones upon boarding for the audio guide, and there were a couple of times during the trip when we were clearly facing the opposite way to what the commentary was describing. Having said that, on the whole it was a nice pleasant couple of hours and I would happily recommend this tour

A sham

This tour is such a sham. If you want to go take a boat tour, go to the company that this outfit subcontracts with. It in the Old Town side of the Charles Bridge. The vendors are wearing sailor costumes. The boat tour is fine. But PragueWay's added walking tour is a shake down. Duplicates and sometimes even contradicts the more authoritative info on the boat tour. When it is correct, it's nothing that you couldn't find in a standard guide book. Shame in these people.

Nice tour. It was quite crowded on the bridge, but our tour took us down several streets that were less crowded. I enjoyed the tour guide quite a lot, nice stories about what is authentic in Prague and what is not. The boat ride was beautiful and they handed out ice cream which was nice after walking. They had ear buds you used for the boat ride to listen in English. I liked when the boat operator was talking best.

Pragueway Tours! It's a yes from us!

I'd definitely recommend doing this tour with Pragueway. We really enjoyed the walking part of the tour which comes with this tour. David our tour guide was very knowledgeable about all things Prague. I'd say to do this tour as one of the first things you do when you get to Prague as it helps you plan out the rest of your time there as the tour guide gives really good recommendations about where you should visit but also places to avoid! After the walking tour you are taken to the boat for the final 45 mins. This part is a recorded audio guide so alot more formal but still very interesting. Views of Prague from the river are impressive especially in the sunshine which we were lucky to have.

Just do the walking tour

Walking portion five stars. Boy tour one star. Boat tour repeats all of the info in the walking tour and boy feels like a cheesy Disney ride.

Charles Bridge Tour

We really enjoyed the tour with Michal who was really friendly, gave interesting information and showed us around some places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. The walking section was better than the boat ride but it gave us some nice views from a different perspective. Would recommend!

Too much walking

We thought that the tour was on a boat. The first 45 minutes was a walking tour. The guide was ok and talked alot. We wanted to take a boast tour to avoid walking. The title of the tour is misleading.

Charles bridge tour

The tour was really nice. The guide (Vlada) gave amazing recommendations in and around the city. Would definitely recommend!

Guide was excellent, really enjoyed all of the experience, however the earphones not working was a disappointmen

Very interesting guide, Michal new his history and was funny too. We enjoyed the boat trip only issue was the earphones did not work very well.

A good introduction to Charles Bridge area with friendly guide

This was just right for an introduction to Charles Bridge area. Thanks to Vlad our guide who was very friendly, relaxed and informative. 45 minutes walking tour with a few relaxed stops, followed by a short boat trip. As others have said, audio on boat is OK rather than brilliant but boat trip was good, including beer/soft drink and an ice cream or gingerbread style snack. We came from trip feeling like we knew more about area and felt like the boat trip had been a relaxing experience. Vlad was really helpful. The museum at Charles Bridge, included in ticket looked as though it had a nice tea shop but seemed to have quite a strange collection of things!

Nice experience on visit Prague

I love the tour for the Charles bridge so valuable history for the place , the Guide Vlada so nice give us so great information about the Place and good recomendation from prague. we have so pleasure time!

Ella was an amazing tour guide and so lovely and welcoming! She was very informative and answered any questions we had. We really enjoyed the walking tour, would 100% recommend it, especially if the other tour guides are as amazing as Ella!

Ella was an amazing guide.

Done a walking tour and it lasted longer then the 45 minutes expected which was the first brilliant part. Ella the tour guide was so great and her English was absolutely brilliant. I would highly recommend we learnt so much and the river tour was the icing on the cake! If you want a tour of Prague that is easy at a good pace and very informative do this! And hope you get Ella she was brilliant.

Sebastian was great!

Fun tour with Sebastian. He was engaging, knowledgeable, and funny. Told us the interesting history of the bridge and other fun facts. He had a love of Prague that came through clearly and was infectious. The boat tour, which is audio-narrated, is a little dry and slightly repetitive to the walking tour (plus it was SUPER hot on the boat, which was a little sleep inducing), but still interesting enough that it makes this walking & boat tour worthwhile. My main feedback would be to improve the narration on the boat tour to make it either live or give the audio a little more pep, particularly since the boat tour is of a very small area and is not necessarily visually super interesting since it just goes in a small circle.

Fantastic and very informative tour from Agatha on Monday 25/4. Agatha gave us a great insight into Pragues history while also showing us some of the fantastic sites available in such a short timeframe. Would recommend to anyone travelling here.

Informative at a gentle pace

Jachym was a very informative guide with plenty of historical information regarding the Maltese square area of Prague which we had walked round previously & had not realised the significance. Jachym also pointed out Beethoven’s house : again walked past & not realised. Then we had stops on the King Charles bridge to explain the statues & interesting myths & legends. Very entertaining & enjoyable. We were then given our tickets for the boat tour which points out buildings history on the river with your free drink & gingerbread. Again a very informative captain who gave additional information from the standard audio tour. A pleasant entertaining couple of hours to learn some history & the significance of buildings you may walk past & not understand their importance.

Short sample of Prague!

Walking tour with Michal was great! Since I’ve already spent a few days in Prague I was looking for a short tour that went a few places just off the main drag and this was perfect!

First rate and interesting tour

A perfect introduction to this part of Prague. Our guide, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were lucky that our group was small, only us and another couple, making it easy to ask our own questions about what interested us. Highly recommended.

Great tour, excellent value for money

This was a great little tour. A guided walk around the streets closest to the bridge, and then a walk across. Our tour guide David was knowledgeable, good fun, and spoke great English. We were handed over for the boat trip which was interesting. The little museum at the end was worth a short visit. All in all, 2 hours well spent. David also recommended a local bar/restaurant which was close to the bridge (Lokal) and we took his recommendation which was worth it.

Lovely morning in Prague

Lovely tour around Prague, its magnificent city and bridges filled with history. The tour was the perfect way to start our day. We really enjoyed knowing more about the history and myths of this place, and our guide Vladimir made it very interesting for everyone, even the not so history fans ;) Would definitely recommend!

Tour was so fun! Michal is an amazing tour agent. He told us very interesting stories about the spots we were seeing. Boat tour was a great way to relax after the walking tour and enjoy the river view and the canal.

Charles Bridge Tour

Very informative and funny tour guide! I would recommend it any time! We walked around the city for 45 minutes and learned quite a lot about the town. And then after the tour with the guide there is a 45 minute boat tour you can take and even after that you can take a look at Charles Bridge Museum.

Wonderful all round tour, highly recommended

This was an excellent tour, actually 3 tours combined into 1 day. Perfect pace, Michal and Johana were excellent tour guides. We had great fun and highly recommend it. Site seeing in Old Town, Atronomical clock, boat trip and Castle tour, all was wonderful.

Charles Bridge

Michal is a first class guide. Knowledgeable and delivered his tour with humour. A great mix of information on foot and by boat.

Good overall.

Boat experience was good. Snacks were also nice. Not quite what I was expecting. It is a small boat, that is quite low in the water. So views aren’t spectacular. Audio guide tour is precise but gives you a general gist of the history of the river at Prague. Happy with tour.
