We very much enjoyed every site we visited and know we wouldn’t have had the same experience and efficiency visiting so many landmarks if not for this tour. Ya was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Must do Bangkok day tour

Our guide Karti made the whole day an absolutely fantastic experience. If you are up for all the main Bangkok sites in one day then this must be the best tour going.

First choice for full day tour

Excellent experience. Helpful and resourceful tour guide. Thoroughly enjoyed the full day trip. Highlights are the boat tour, Grand palaca and golden buddha temple. Offered Lunch was very authentic

A bit chaotic but a good intro to the sites

Tour was a good way to see the city and key sites quickly. Our guide seemed very knowledgeable and was very concerned about our condition (especially given the hot weather. We did visit all the sites. The air conditioned van was a lifesaver on a hot day. The tour did feel chaotic though. From the moment of meeting, our guide spent a lot of time on the phone (setting up next tour sites I assume) so it seemed likely there had been little pre-work (likely the fault of the agency not the guide?). The guides English was only ok - likely this was why we got less background and other information than I would have liked, and likely why she often just left us at the door of some temples and told us to self tour and meet up in 15 minutes. We did agree that shortening the tour was a good idea given the extreme temps.

Excellent and interesting tour of many highlights of Bangkok.

Our guide and driver provided a very comfortable, educational and interesting tour of Bangkok. We saw a number of highlights, cruised a fascinating canal and saw many sites, while learning how people in Bangkok and Thailand live. I highly recommend this tour.

Waste of money

Terrible waste of money! We paid for the private tour as we wanted to see and hear the history. Our guide didn’t provide any information! We asked questions to try and get something from him. He couldn’t understand our questions even simple ones. The guide was nice and the pace was fine however we paid to get history and we didn’t get any. We have used viator before and we throughly enjoyed the experiences that is why we used the company again. Unfortunately this experience was so bad we won’t be using viator again.

Not worth the price

Not worth the price we paid. Also if you start in the afternoon you will only see a few spots. They will not go later. And our driver got lost both ways.

Full day Bangkok tour

Great way to get to see the highlights of Bangkok in one day. Preecha was friendly, knowledgeable and always made us feel very comfortable.

Good way to see the highlights of Bangkok

Great day. Had been looking forward to seeing all the cultural sites. Wasn’t disappointed. Guide was very good. The only thing I would add is that the boarding on the long boat was very hazardous and then the canal boat ride that followed was a little too long. I do not think you should be trying to get people on a boat that is almost 6 ft below them

Temples

All good and pleasant, very good o be guided so quickly with no need to think about nothing more than sightseeing. it was tremendously hot but coming from winter…no regrets!

Great introduction to Thailand and Bangkok

A really interesting day which helped us get our bearings on day one in Bangkok. Our guide, Araya, was lovely and very knowledgeable. She was able to navigate us through temples and palaces in a way that we would never have been able to do on our own, bringing the stories and history to life through her explanations. It was fantastic being in a group as just our family and the whole experience felt really tailored and personal - from learning to fold lotus flowers so that we could offer them at the temple, to sitting down in a restaurant with local people for lunch. Pick up and drop off at the hotel in an air conditioned minibus was a godsend in the heat!

A True Learning Experience

The tour started on time and took about 6-7 hours to completion. We covered all the sights mentioned in the itinerary during this tour and we had sufficient time at each location. What made the tour memorable was our tour guide Krit. A young fellow, whose knowledge of history and his general knowledge of the world was amazing. He made the tour a true learning experience for us. Besides the above mentioned, the vehicle that picked us for the tour was clean, very comfortable and well maintained. The lunch was set to our taste and preference and the choice of restaurant was a good one (clean, good food and not much rush). All in all, we had a great day sightseeing in Bangkok.

Amazing day in Bangkok

What are awesome day we had with our tour guide. He was very informative, funny, knowledgeable. he had a story about everything, we saw so much in such a short period of time, from Royal Palace, canal, boat, ride, fairy ride, delicious, lunch and much much more. I would definitely recommend this experience, will definitely recommend him to all my friends when in Bangkok. Thank you for making this day so special for our family. PS even my eight-year-old had a great time:)

Bangkok highlights in a single day

We chose this itinerary based on time constraints in Bangkok. It is optimistic to complete all stops when the temperatures and humidity are at peak levels. Our guide was punctual and navigated us through the streets, boats, and ferries. Araya educated on throughout the journey. I would highly recommend this tour but be reasonable based on temperatures - focus on the the temples.

Very efficient trip

Good trip for those who want to visit many places in Bangkok in one day! Very convenient pick up and drop off during the trip which reduces our time waiting in the hot weather.

A great experience.

A very interesting and informative experience. The day started with a collection front the hotel followed by a long tail boat trip through the water ways of Bangkok. Once back on dry land, our tour guide gave us a very informative guide through the temples of Bangkok. There didn’t seem to be anything our guide did not know. A very good day for anyone looking to lean more about the culture of Thailand.

A Whirlwind of Bangkok’s Major Historical Sites

I had a great tour with our guide, Peter. This was a private tour where we were shuttled across all the major landmarks in Bangkok. Peter was obviously quite knowledgeable about Thai history and culture. His stories and interesting facts helped bring to life the murals and architecture of the areas we toured. What I appreciated was his efficiency in beating the crowds to get unobscured photos in front of the temples and making sure we were never waiting around. We were probably able to accomplish in 6 hours what would normally take 2 days for a typical tourist without a guide. We also had a motorized longboat all to ourselves and had the fastest boat driver in Bangkok - it was a blast. One final thought to keep in mind if you are considering booking this tour: this is an extremely temple heavy tour and you will be spending all day walking through tourist-heavy temple sites across Bangkok in the heat. The tour starts with the flower market in the morning, but afterwards it’s temple after temple, with the boat tour bisecting it before lunch. If you are looking for more of a backstreets or food focused tour, I would look elsewhere.

Great first day in Bangkok

Our day with Tatar was wonderful! We got around very easy with the driver! Although it rained most of the day, we managed to see and enjoy everything with umbrellas! Tatar was incredibly full of knowledge and answered our questions. She easily adjusted the tour to our needs. The temples were amazing and the Flower market was a site to see! Tatar pointed things out to us that we have never seen and we sampled different things also. A great first day in Bangkok! Thank you Tatar!

Great way to visit the temples

Nan was our guide and you can tell that she loves her job. She was informative, kind, and animated with a sweet spirit. I was glad to have a private tour because it gave us a chance to ask questions. She knew a lot about Bangkok and the temples. She had an abundance of cold water in the van and lunch was in an air conditioned restaurant where the food was excellent!

An indepth introduction to Bangkok

Krit was a wonderful guide to the major sights of Bangkok. Temples, palaces and trips on the canal plus a great lunch-- this tour had it all.

If you have limited time this is a superb way to see all the major sights with a local guide to help you navigate and learn. Eddie was very knowledgeable and kind…we had a great day. Being able to retreat to a comfortable, air conditioned van at intervals was very helpful and efficient. This is a wonderful tour!!

A great experience! If you book online, just make sure that you confirm your booking, as ours was missed and our pick up was 90 minutes late. Once they arrived, the rest of the day was great.

Great Experience in this Wonderful City

A fantastic tour of this wonderful city. Krit (our tour guide) was excellent!! He was personable, informative, flexible, funny, well organized, etc. We saw and experienced a lot in one day. He made sure our driver was there at each stop to minimize walking and maximizing our time. Krit got us involved in experiencing the local culture. We worked on a flower at the flower market which was later offered at a temple. He walked us through the palace showing us all the sites and explaining us the background and story behind it. We saw the different buddhas (emerald, golden, reclining) at the temples. We took a nice canal cruise and feed the catfish. We had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Krit was unbelievable. We wanted to do additional shopping at a mall and he took us there. He also directed us on how to get back to our hotel and followed up with us to make sure we got back safely. What a wonderful tour with the best tour guide (Krit).

Fantastic tour guide!!

Amazing tour with Mrs. Ying!! She was the best tour guide and we had the BEST time!! She scheduled our tour to avoid the biggest crowds and the hottest part of the day. Our lunch was the best Thai food we ever had. You must book a tour with her for an amazing experience!!

Best way to see Bangkok's top attractions

Our guide Nan was very attentive and provided top service with AC transport in 100 Fahrenheit degrees weather. We had limited time in Bangkok and this is the best way to see the city in one day. We visited the Wat Traimit Golden Buddha, Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, Chinatown, Flower Market, Reclining Buddha, boat ride, lunch and more. It was a packed day and very productive. Definitely recommend if you don't want to navigate in the heat and find transport from one location to another.

Trip to Bangkok

We spent a couple of days in Bangkok ahead of travelling down the coast to Hua Hin for a relaxing stay. Having not been to Bangkok for 30 years and only having a short time in this bustling vibrant city, we booked the private tour and we were not disappointed. We had a fabulous guide (Nan) who was friendly, informative and made us feel very relaxed. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel lobby after a highly entertaining day. I would strongly recommend this tour for those who want to learn more about the city but only have a short time in the city. It is not cheap but definitely worth it. We went round the city courtesy of a private driver (in addition to the tour guide), and we also went on a bus, ferry and canal boat all in the space of one day. And we were back in our hotel by 4pm.

Excellent value for money Highly Recommend

This was a wonderful tour to see the top site highlights of Bangkok. Our tour guide krit spoke flawless English and was incredibly friendly and well versed in history of every place we visited. The pace of the tour was wonderful we neither felt rushed or overwhelmed it was a solid balance of walking and moments of rest whether in boat in van traveling between locations or lunch. It was wonderful to just relax and enjoy as our guide navigated getting tickets and expedited our entry. He also guided us to best place for photos. The lunch was wonderful in small air conditioned restraunt. We had a large touring bus for just two of us with wonderful air conditioning and ice cold bottles of water waiting for us. I highly recommend this tour and value for money was excellent. As I watched large tour groups struggle through sites I was so grateful we chose this private tour. If you can ask for Krit as a guide do so, you will not be disappointed as it is a perfect balance of historic sites and current culture

Great tour in a great city.

This was a very good tour, and we loved our guide. Sometimes the guide was difficult to understand, but he was a lovely person. We had a very full day that included a lot of walking, but we really did get a full taste of Bangkok.

A truly excellent & memorable day.

We had a very memorable day seeing some of the main sights in Bangkok. We saw the flower market, Grand Palace, Emerald, Leaning & Golden Buddhas, Wat Arun Temple, China Town, had a nice lunch & a trip on a long tail boat. What a day!! The transport was great & I have to give top marks to our guide, Krit whose English was excellent as was his knowledge & consideration for us. Thank you!

Bangkok adventures

The grand palace tour was excellent. Our tour guide Peter was knowledgeable and entertaining. There was so many temples inside the Palace ground. The boat ride was also fun.
